Celebrate National Library Week
Each day, library workers make a real difference in the lives of millions of people throughout the United States. Library workers help people of all ages and backgrounds find the information they need to live, learn and work during these challenging times.
National Library Week is held every April, to honor libraries and library workers across the country. This year, National Library Week is April 11-17. To celebrate, take a virtual tour of a public library and meet some of the staff in Thank a Library Worker Today and Every Day.
Also, see the U.S. House of Representatives Resolution 1222, supporting National Library Week.
And then, make sure to visit the Troy Public Library, meet the variety of our staff in all our Departments, and learn everything that today's library has to offer you!
That's a cute picture. It makes the librarian look like she has a halo and wings!
The library always make it a very enjoyable place for my children to go visit. It has books, audio/video materials and reference resources for our childen to use in school and in our lives. Thank you for your hard work! we appreciated it.
I just want everyone to know that we have the most friendly Library that I have ever been into. And as I travel from place to place I have gone into them years ago and the new ones within the past 4 years.
We have people that come from all over and would not change our Library in any way because they feel at home in this one. Our Librarians are the best and we know that, because people tell us and we are so proud of all of them. Thank you Phil for the nice write up and all you do. As for our Director, you can't find a better one anywhere. Thank you Cathy for coming to ours.
sincerely
Audre Zembrzuski and family
