Take Me Out

Yes, it's time for another Detroit Tigers Opening Day and a brand new Major League Baseball season.  Follow your hometown heroes and American's pastime with Troy Library's collection of books and DVDs on the sport in general (Dewey Call Number 796.357) and the home team in particular (796.3576). 

While visiting our collection, keep an eye out for the contributions of local scribes like Mitch Albom, Drew Sharp and Dan Ewald.  Make sure you check out the work of the legendary Ernie Harwell.
