Celebrate Children's Book Week, May 10 - 16

Children's Book Week is celebrated nationally in schools, libraries, bookstores, clubs, private homes - any place where there are children and books. Educators, librarians, booksellers, and families celebrate children's books and the love of reading with storytelling, parties, author and illustrator appearances, and other book-related events.

This year Children's Book Week is May 10-16. The CBC has announced the 2010 Children's Choice Book Awards finalists. Come by the Troy Library to check out the nominated books. Then cast your vote for your favorite title, author, and illustrator by May 3 at www.BookWeekOnline.com. Winners will be announced May 11.

Books are selected for ages ranging from 5 - 17, so there is something for everyone to enjoy!
