Relaxation and Meditation Workshops

Meditation is a wonderful and scientifically proven tool for decreasing stress, but many people are unsure about how to incorporate a consistent practice in their lives.

The Troy Public Library is offering you the chance to learn more about meditation at a three session series, Fridays, April 16, 23, and 30, at 11am. Cathleen Francois, president of Spiritual Endeavors of Michigan will lead the sessions, explaining body and mind awareness, where dis-ease is located in the body, the tools to start transforming negatives to positives, and how to open the door to create the reality that you want. You will hear how to relax and unwind tension in the physical body, calm the emotions, and still the mind.

Francois is a philosopher, free-lance writer, workshop facilitator and interfaith minister. A student of meditation and metaphysics for 34 years, she is skilled and trained in many stress reduction and self-awareness modalities including Pranayama Breathing, Meditation, Energy Balancing, and others. She operates a self-awareness corporation, to help advance all to their highest potential. Her philosophies are respectful of all religious beliefs and in alignment with today's scientific theories.
