Polaris Features for All Ages

The Library's new Polaris catalog has many cool features that our old system did not. One of those features is a special version of the catalog designed just for children! This kid-friendly design makes searching fast and subject browsing easy.

From the Library catalog search screen, click on the Polaris Children's Catalog icon in the bottom left corner. Enter your search terms in the box at the top of the page, then click on the button of the type of search you wish to perform. Choices include anywhere (keyword), titles, authors, subjects, fiction and non-fiction. To browse, just click on any of the links below the search box such as the arts, holidays or sports.

In either case, simplfied results are easy to read and understand. You can even customize the page by choosing your favorite of three themes from the naviagation area on the left hand side of the page. To go directly to the Polaris Children's Catalog click here. Try it out today!
