Computer Basics 1 (Hardware and Software)


Not comfortable with computers? This class is designed for the person with little or no computer experience. You will learn what a computer is, how it works, and the differences between hardware and software. You will explore the keyboard and mouse, learn ways to store data, and understand how to read a computer advertisement. You will also learn how to open software, and how to create, name, save, and delete a file. There will be time for hands-on exercises. This is a two-part class. Each part is two hours. Plan to attend both parts.
